TWA’s mission is to serve Texas wildlife and its habitat, while protecting property rights, hunting heritage, and the conservation efforts of those who value and steward wildlife resources.
For Leaders & Educators
We are on the front lines helping our elected state and national officials understand the importance of private landowners and responsible stewardship as our leaders grapple with the intricacies of the natural world.
For Texas
Outdoorsmen
TWA is also home to programs such as the Texas Youth Hunting Program, Texas Brigades, Conservation Legacy Programs, and the Texas Big Game Awards.
Why Attend?
Texas Wildlife Association’s members and more are invited to join virtually for its pivotal 35th Anniversary celebration- WildLife 2020! For those who have attended its annual Convention fundraiser in the past TWA will be launching the same incredible seminars, grand auction items and Private Lands Summit virtually beginning July 6th. With topics such as wild game cooking, building bird ecotourism, landowner liability protections, wildlife restoration and more, you can be sure this virtual experience will not only bring conservationists together from across Texas but it will also give you, a valued land steward, the opportunity to learn how to enhance your actions in your own backyard.
In addition to celebrating TWA’s 35th anniversary, this year’s unique online grand auction will feature the coveted Desert Bighorn Sheep Permit, which will generate vital funds supporting TPWD’s Desert Bighorn Program, dedicated to desert bighorn sheep restoration, management and research. You can also look forward to new events during the week such as watch party interactions via Zoom, a live virtual tour of TWA’s new headquarters and a few more surprises up our sleeves!
As a thank you for your continued support of TWA this event is being brought to you FREE OF CHARGE! We hope that you will sit back and enjoy all the activities, bid on our outstanding auction items, join or renew your membership and continue to support the leading voice in our state for landowners, hunters, and wildlife.

I love what TWA does for Texas. It educates Texans of all ages, promotes conservation, supports landowners and recruits hunters to keep our tradition alive. It’s a great organization that is committed to the land, the wildlife and the people who are about them.
