Froylán Hernández got his B.S. from Texas A&M in 1999 and his M.S. from Sul Ross State University in 2005. He worked for US Fish and Wildlife Service and Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute prior to coming to Texas Parks & Wildlife Department. He started his career with TPWD in 2005 as the Assistant Area Manager for Elephant Mountain WMA. In 2010, he became the Desert Bighorn Sheep Program Leader for TPWD, and currently still holds that position.
