As an Extension Wildlife Specialist, Dr. Frank leads outreach programs that connect people to their local natural resources. This ranges from helping urban residents build backyard bird habitat to encouraging youth to become leaders through hunting experiences. Birds are a large part of Dr. Frank’s programming as she seeks to help non-landowner birders understand the value of sustainable working lands, and landowners explore the benefits of bird ecotourism. Dr. Frank holds a B.S. from Texas A&M University and a PhD from Utah State University.
